Firma QMAN byla založena poté, co si pan Zhan Kehua přivezl z dovolené v zahraničí stavebnici, která nadchla jeho dvě děti. Jejich zájem pro kostky stavebnice ho inspiroval k vytvoření vlastní firmy. Už roku 1984 založil továrnu na zpracování plastu, ale v roce 1994 se zrodila značka QMAN. V roce 2003 se firma QMAN stala druhou největší značkou stavebnic ve východní Evropě. Roku 2012 zautomatizovali výrobu a později otevřeli i druhou továrnu. Brzy na to uvedli nabídku stavebnic určených dívkám a později vyvinuli i řadu větších kostek pro nejmenší. Stavebnice odpovídají mezinárodním standardům. Pro vedení QMAN je důležité, aby měly stavebnice vysokou kvalitu a byly finančně dostupné většině dětí. Chtějí děti podporovat a pomáhat rozvíjet jejich představivost, kreativitu a motorické dovednosti.
